Tran Architecture is a full-service architecture and design practice based in Houston, Texas with a broad experience in residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Tran Architecture can provide practical expertise from preliminary planning to construction administration with a commitment to personal attention and sensible modern design.

Previously, he worked on Springdale General and Uchi Dallas while at Michael Hsu Office of Architecture in Austin, Texas.

Prior to founding Tran Architecture, Gary Tran designed and managed architectural projects in both New York City and Houston. While at Rogers Marvel Architects and Matthew Baird Architects in Lower Manhattan, Gary worked on projects ranging from streetscape security to a university arts building and a glass penthouse. 

 

 

 

 

He also completed a one-year practicum at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Paris, France where he contributed to the New York Times Tower project team. Upon returning to Houston, he focused mainly on single-family residential work in Texas with Murphy Mears Architects.

Gary is a Registered Architect in the State of New York and Texas and a LEED Accredited Professional. His education includes a professional Bachelor of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Art History from Rice University.

Recently, he attained a professional Master in City Planning degree from the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning.
